Accreditations
The American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), in accordance
with the requirements set forth by ISO/IEC 17025, accredits the Safety Components
laboratory. Our laboratory is your point of contact for technical and testing questions.
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) audits Safety Components laboratory for proficiency
and competence to test fire service materials currently listed in the registration program
pertaining to the requirements of NFPA 1971:2007.
   Safety Components laboratory has a very comprehensive scope of accreditation using
consensus methods from domestic and international standards. These include ASTM,
AATCC, NFPA, ISO, DIN, and JIS L-1096. Other mechanical tests may be evaluated
upon request.
   Safety Components representatives serve as voting members for A2LA, ASTM D-13,
committee on Textiles, AATC and NFPA.
